Welcome to Canadians in Arizona!

Hear What Our Customers Have to Say:

"I found Brian’s web site when I was looking for our “snow-bird” home on the internet. Brian was very helpful and informative from the moment I contacted him. He provided us with a wealth of information on the pro’s and con’s of buying a new house versus a used one. As we don’t live in the US and neither my husband or myself are very handy with the renovations that a used home would entail, we decided that a new house was the route for us."

"Brian carted us around to all the show homes in Maricopa (I think it wasn’t even half but it felt like a lot) until we found exactly what we were looking for. It was advertised a little out of the price range we had set for ourselves, but with Brian’s help negotiating with the Show Home Representatives we were able to strike a deal with the builder."

"We purchased a spec home (someone had previously bought it but the deal fell through when they couldn’t sell their own home) when it was in the framing stage. We live in Canada, so Brian happily agreed to do all the walk-thrus and inspections for us. We were really surprised and grateful to receive emailed pictures from Brian on the different development stages that our house went through."

"Brian has been a wealth of knowledge on buying a new home and gave us a lot of information and contacts for the various trades that we needed to complete our home. We are more than happy to recommend Brian (and have many times) as a realtor to anyone searching for a new home in the area. I love our new home and can’t wait to spend the winter there. Thank you Brian."

"While researching real estate opportunities in the Phoenix area, I came across Brian's website. I found the information provided clear and concise, showing a wide variety of new homes with pictures and floor plans."

"A few months later when my wife and I were in Phoenix we contacted Brian, who was pleased to meet with us the next day. We both found Brian very accommodating and sensitive to our requirements and expectations for a vacation home."

"Within a relatively short period of time we purchased a new home through Brian. Being residents of Canada, many of the details in purchasing the home along with the closing procedures were foreign to us. Brian was an excellent source of information and comfort in assisting us with these procedures, along and the numerous other concerns that came up through the process. His communication skills are excellent and his willingness to do whatever is necessary was greatly appreciated, and we would highly recommend him, without hesitation, to any prospective purchaser of real estate in the Phoenix area."

"Over the years my wife and I have bought and sold quite a few houses and condos. We have used a real estate agent about ½ the time, the other ½ we have bought and sold on our own. It is an easy process in the Canadian housing market and sometimes the realtors have just not met our needs."

"Buying a home in the US market is a different thing all together. The process is different, the laws are different and the market is vast. My wife and I spent three months in the “Valley of the Sun” last winter, looking for a place to call our own. We used up a lot of gas and wasted a lot of vacation time before meeting Brian Petersheim in Maricopa. Our searching came to an end."

"We were referred to Brian by friends of ours who were also looking to buy in Arizona. They had been referred by friends of theirs who had already used Brian as their representative and were extremely pleased with the results."

"Our friends send a link to Brian’s website and I went on to see what Brian had to offer. The prices shocked me. The idea that I could have a “New Built” house completed in 4-6 months at the prices stated made me curious yet skeptical. Never the less, we went with our friends to meet Brian and see for ourselves. Calling Brian was the best thing I had done since arriving in Arizona."

"Brian is NOT your average realtor. Brian does not work for the builders, sellers or Title companies. Brian works for you. The first thing you will notice about Brian is how he listens. He listens to you and asks questions to determine what you want to buy not what someone else wants to sell. And then you head out for a day of discovery."

"We toured model homes for two days in Maricopa. Brian knows all the builders and what their incentives are. He negotiates for you with the builders, getting them to throw in additional incentives or to pay closing costs. Without him at you side you would not get near the deals that he can get."

"Believe me, the prices are real. The area is great and the process of buying is painless. Brian is with you at all stages. He is there when you make the offer, he is there for the walk through, he is there for the closing and he is there anywhere in between. Brian keeps in touch to makes sure you know what is happening every step of the way."

"Our friends took possession of their new home in March and we take possession of ours on May 5th. And guess what, we did it all from Canada. We couldn’t make up our minds before heading back up North. We knew the area we wanted to be in and had taken plenty of notes while with Brian. He stayed in touch with Brian via email and his 1-800 number and when we made our decision Brian went to work and did the rest."

"Maricopa is a long ways from home. It has a small town atmosphere and friendly people. We are hoping a lot more Canucks take the plunge and buy in Maricopa and take advantage of the deals that are here. With a contact like Brian living in your town, what more could you ask for."

"If you would like more information about our buying experience, ask Brian for my phone number or email address. I’d be happy to help you out."

My wife and I watched all the news about how wonderful and warm Mesa/Phoenix/Maricopa was in the month of March,April,May. We both went down at the end of April and woke up our first morning not to the dismal rain/cloud and cool 45 degree temp of Vancouver, but were greeted by a brilliant sunrise and a cool temperature of "75 degrees Fahrenheit" yes finally warm weather.

After enduring a warm 90 plus degrees for 7 days, my aches and pains were what I felt reduced by 50 per cent.

We researched the real estate market and with the strength of the Canadian dollar and the Sub prime issues in the US, we decided upon a slower paced community near Phoenix. The town is Maricopa. We found a Great realtor by the name of Brian who can be contacted at www.CanadiansInArizona.NET.

If you are starved for the warm dry air and do not mind the sun for at least 300 days of the year, may I suggest to start living and buy in Arizona. As a home away from home.
